Nick was fed at an early age with dishes from Sharon Redd, Kool and the Gang, Shalamar, George Benson, The Love Unlimited Orchestra, Barry White, Luther Vandross and The Light of the World which always drew him to the dancefloor.
The Essex Soul Clubland Movement, combined with the Caister Weekender and more recently the Southport Weekender have played an important part in his musical education.
Listening to 80's pirate radio stations JFM, Horizon and Solar Radio sparked his interest in music of a soul origin.
Throughout his twenty year DJ-ing career, turntable and music mixing have been at the forefront of where Nick is at today.
A fanatic of dance music, he has made regular trips to Miami, the USA, and especially New York City. These trips have fuelled his love for the US Garage Sound.
The year 2007 has seen the launch of the label Soul-FI Records in the UK, together with A&R and promotion duties for the hottest Uk dance record labels.
Nick's previous Dj residencies include the Berwick Manor Nightclub in Essex, guest slots at London’s Ministry of Sound, venues and night clubs in Ibiza and the Uk and across Europe.
Today Nick is resident at one of London’s most established monthly underground US soulful dance music nights “Soulful Garage”, as well as representing the Southport Weekender Choice events in London.
His first experience of radio presenting was in 2000 with regular late night guest mix slots on East London's Active FM, followed by his own show in 2004 on SoulCity FM.
Currently you can find Nick mixing his US influences on 'SOUL EMOTIONS' each Wednesday night for a mixture of new and old Soul Music with a House Groove!
